The world of Plowden & Fallow is the home to one of Britain’s newer contemporary fragrance houses, located in Shropshire, England. We produce artisan luxury fragrances and shaving products and accessories for those that demand not only the very best of quality, but also for those that yearn perhaps, for the less conventional.

Plowden & Fallow is inspired by great British traditions, folklore and eccentricity. We take a great deal of inspiration and knowledge from the past and apply it in the modern day to create quintessentially British fragranced products, to exacting standards, which, whilst giving a nod to tradition, contain a refreshing modern twist.

The crafting of a Plowden & Fallow product…

Here at Plowden & Fallow we try to never take the easy route. With the quality of our products, there is never a compromise to be observed. No matter if the item in question is a Plowden and Fallow fragrance, or a shaving cream, the notion is always the same; we place all our emphasis on quality and the finer details. This belief is applied throughout our production processes, from our fragrance creation, to our components and packaging.

Plowden & Fallow is a proud British brand and all of our product ranges are produced here in the UK, by our artisan craftsmen and women, who combine knowledge with passion and the expertise in their individual crafts, most often, passed down through generations to the current day. Plowden & Fallow fragrances and other ranges are produced in small batches, and all are constructed by hand. The Plowden & Fallow seal found on most of our packaging is a mark of confidence by us, in our products and is a stamp that symbolises the above notions.

Environmental ethos…

Environmental considerations are of paramount importance to us. As a brand we work to reduce our impact that our company and the construction of our products may have on the environment, from reducing transport miles, paperless invoicing and using recyclable and sustainable components where realistic and possible. Whilst we are not perfect, we are constantly considering and examining new more sustainable pathways and options. Where we are not able to utilise fully sustainable materials because of hygiene or product safety or storage considerations, we are hoping to soon implement a process of carbon offsetting in the form of tree planting schemes, managed and administrated by Plowden & Fallow in house; we will release an update as this progresses.
